Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:7-8

This is the New Testament bookend to what I talked about yesterday: in all things, God has acted first.  He put together a creation that astounds with His greatness and abounds with His goodness. It has more than everything we need (whether we share with each other is, of course another matter!).  And though we start out life in rebellion against God, He made the first move; and it wasn't to punish, but to redeem.

A short one today, but something I hope you'll think about - and rest in.  He really is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
