“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In honor of our marriage of 43 years:


As a college student, Steve and I were in a Christian singing group that performed in the area. One of the songs we performed included this verse, "He Is Our Peace." Steve and I had our friends sing the song at our wedding. This verse is a reminder that trials are expected and part of life. We do not need to fear them and should remember that he walks with us through them and brings us peace.
